Greetings and love to you in Christ Jesus! The word for today has been resonating in my spirit for some time. It excites me to write to you and share the Lord’s goodness and how by sharing you can be encouraged and rejoice too! The Word is truly alive, creative and powerful!!
In I Chronicles 16 ~ we read David’s Song of thanksgiving. Verses 8-13
“Oh give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; talk of all His wondrous works! Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore! Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgment of His mouth, O seed of Israel (Abraham) His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones!” Also found in Psalm 105: 1-6
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately on the goodness of God! Being thankful, it seems, brings even more peace and contentment to my life. The more I tell the Lord how thankful I am for what He is doing in my life today, the more He pours out His goodness on me in so many ways in the days following!! What an awesome God we serve!! I express my thanksgiving often throughout each day and try to share with others of His goodness. You know so many don’t see the blessing of each day because they are looking for the spectacular instead of the supernatural! Many miss their miracles because of this, they miss hearing or seeing their answers. We live in a supernatural kingdom with a supernatural God who leads us through a supernatural life! Wooop, woop!! I just had to rejoice and again I rejoice!! Woop, Woop!!
For, living Kingdom life experientially is living in the abundance Jesus came to give to us. Not just knowing about God’s abundance but experiencing God’s abundance and fullness in every area of your life. Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. Isn’t that how Jesus taught us to pray? Oh yes, thank you Jesus!! I encourage you to receive fully His love, His forgiveness, His deliverance, His gifts, His grace, His faithfulness, His mercy, His healing, His miracles, His touch, His presence ~ His abundance!
The well of thankfulness will be dug deeper and deeper as you meditate on how Christ has touched you just through the first eight months of 2014! We are to recall His goodness and tell others and testify of what we have experienced! In doing so, we relive the blessings we have received and are filled anew with His goodness and presence!
God wants us to not only know Him intimately but He wants us to experience Him intimately!! For if we intimately know Him then our experiences in Him will be intimate to us also. Daddy will take us to another level with Him and our hearts will overflow with His presence and glory! We have been created for this very purpose; to seek Him and know of His goodness. Amen!
