Love Came Down
On a clear, bright, starry night in Old Bethlehem town
Room was made in a stable and Love came down.
Peace, love and joy filled all the earth
As our Lord Jesus Christ was birthed.
Love came down ~ His life freely He gave
that through Him all might be saved.
He healed the sick and delivered the bound
to all who received ~ new life was found.
Love came down;
God’s gift from heaven ~ His precious Son
Love, mercy, grace, forgiveness ~ given
Even if you were the only one.
Love came down
His gift for you to freely receive
A life of contentment ~ full of joy and peace
To you who trust Him and who believe.
Love came down ~ Jesus
