Col. 3:1-3 “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on things on the earth. For you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”
It has only been a few days since we celebrated the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. I continue to think on all that He accomplished; the finished work of the Cross!
I want to encourage you to look through the cross, look to the other side of the cross, to mediate on what Christ accomplished for you. He went into hell to take back the keys of the Kingdom of God. He provided life, Kingdom Life, eternal life! He provided total healing and health, He provided total provision and He provided total protection and deliverance!
He is the Risen Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is ruling and reigning at the right hand of Father God. And, we are reining with Him in heavenly places!! Once again man has authority and dominion on this earth.
Christ provided you the right to access the Throne of Grace, to approach boldly the Throne of God. You now have access into the heavenly realms, into the spirit and supernatural realm. Through Christ Jesus you now have relationship and life with God the Father, God the Son and God Holy Spirit! Do you realize that you are carrying the Kingdom of God wherever you go? The Kingdom of God is within you! Selah!
Now look at Col 3:1-3 from the Message Bible.
“So, if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up and be alert to what is going on around Christ – that’s where the action is. See things from His perspective. Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God.”
And I will leave you this one last thought. Acts 17: 28a “For in Him we live and move and have our being.”
