Changes Transitions Shifts and Seasons!!

Over the last few years, there have been many changes, transitions, shifts and seasons in my life and most likely in your life as well.  The meanings of these words are similar and yet may affect us differently.  Let’s take a closer look!

Change: Could cause us to become different:

Transition: A change from one state or condition to another

Shift: To move or cause someone to move to a different place or position, a different opinion or belief.

Seasons: Life changes for a period of time, a beginning and an ending

Think about your life over the last few years, have you experienced any transition or shifts in your Christian walk or relationship with Papa God?  How about changes in your life, personal relationships, job or even your living location?  Have you given thought to how these changes may have been answers to your prayers or cries for help?

As Christians, God will shift us or ask us to make changes or transitions which will cause differences in our lives, in our location and in our character!  If we listen, hear and are obedient to do what Holy Spirit is telling us and leading us into then we will experience awesome blessings and victory. Also, we may be delivered out of trouble or harm!

“And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.”   Daniel 2:21

As we receive these changes/shifts/transitions, we will become different, different in the way we think, act and live.  Our faith definitely will be stretched, which is a good thing, as we move and think “out of our box” with Papa!  I believe this is one of the ways the Lord causes us to become more Kingdom minded or Spirit led, we become “a peculiar person”.  I love the definition of “peculiar” in the Hebrew it means a “special treasure” and in the Greek it means “His own special people.” So as we obey His leading and commandments we become His “special treasure and His own special people (person).  How awesome and special is that?  Yes, you are, we are the Lord’s special treasure!!  Selah….think on that awhile and be encouraged!!

Deuteronomy 14:2-3 “for you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.”

I Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priest hood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light, who once where not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”
